She wouldn't be lying here so close to him otherwise, limbs relaxed and breathing steady, the tension gone from her shoulders. She shouldn't, and she knows she shouldn't, but for all the reasons she's given herself not to, she trusts Cassian all the same — would trust him with her life, if it came to that again. He has, after all, saved it more than once.
