That was the understatement of the kriffing century, though he'd have had no way of knowing that. Still, Jyn couldn't hold back the breath she let out, somewhere between a laugh and a sob, hoping he wouldn't hear the latter in it, knowing he probably would. She had a feeling she would regret all of this later, but that was later's problem. The man in front of her now didn't know all that she knew, hadn't lived it. Even through her impossible tangle of emotions, she had just enough sense to know that it wasn't fair to hold it against him in his moment.
